Little Flowers/Blue Knights

Little Flowers Girls' Club

A Catholic, faith-based club for girls, which strives to promote a life of virtue and prayer. The Little Flowers curriculum uses scripture, stories of the saints, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church to teach children about individual virtues, their meanings, and how to grow in those virtues. Little Flowers was inspired by the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Here, at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, our "Little Flowers" nights consist of a craft, small group lesson time, game time, and snack. We conclude our evenings in the church with a decade of the Rosary, led by the children.

Blue Knights Boys' Club

A Catholic, faith-based club for boys, which strives to promote a life of virtue and prayer. The Blue Knights curriculum uses scripture, stories of the saints, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church to teach children about individual virtues, their meanings, and how to grow in those virtues. Here, at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, our "Blue Knights" evenings consist of a craft, small group lesson time, game time, and snack. We conclude our evenings in the church with a decade of the Rosary, led by the children.

Both girls and boys have the opportunity to earn badges throughout the program as they learn and grow in nine virtues.

Little Flowers and Blue Knights meet on Thursday evenings from 3:45-5:30 during the school year. Club meetings are held at St. Alice church in Pequot Lakes.
